About Kevin Warner

I think it's important to know who you're doing business with. To that end the following is a little bit about me and how I ended up doing what I'm doing now. Its not a sales pitch or a trumped up puff piece, it is simply how things happened and what they are. I attend California State University Long Beach to Study Graphic Design and Computer Science. Long Beach State has one of the top 8 ranked Graphic Design programs Nationally. I also am pursuing a minor in Computer Science Web Applications. During the summer I live in the city of Avalon on beautiful Santa Catalina Island about 26 miles of the coast of California. In recognition of the fact that I'm still a student my goal is to provide individuals and businesses with high-quality services at affordable rates. The customer gains the advantage of quality graphics and services, and I get real world experience, and a genuine pleasure in practicing my craft and my art.

Style and Creative Process

I'm influenced by the fantastical, the mythical, the modern and the new. It is the imagination of realities that are not our own that fascinate me, whether conjurations and tales of the honor of knights of old, or dreams of the inventions of the future.

Technical Standards

For those of you with an interest in the technical aspects: I started doing websites entirely in notepad. But currently employ Adobe Creative Suite as a time saving tool. I believe in complying with web-standards, currently XHTML and CSS. I have a strong knowledge of coding and don't rely on software generated WYSIWYG code as it is often messy and incorrect.

History

I graduated Avalon high School as Valedictorian in 2005 and now attend Cal State Long Beach as a President's Scholar on full scholarship to study Graphic Design. I started Kevin Warner Design Services in the summer of 2004 in response to growing number of requests for websites. What started as a part time job for fun has grown into a full time career, and fortunately, I'm still having fun.

New Updates

For this fall semester I am currently only taking on new clients on a limited basis. In order to honor commitments to other clients and to focus on my studies. I apologize for any inconvinience.
